Privacy Policy
The short version Cavri works entirely on your device. Your screenshots, the text we recognize in them, and your search history never leave your iPhone. We have no servers, no accounts, and no analytics. We cannot see anything you do in Cavri.
1. Who we are
This policy explains how NeoSura (“we”, “us”) handles information when you use Cavri (the “App”), an on-device screenshot memory app for iOS. NeoSura is the developer and operator of the App. If you have questions about this policy or the App, contact us at support@neosura.com.
2. Information the App processes
Cavri builds a private, searchable memory layer over the screenshots in your photo library. To do this, the App processes the following information — all of it on your device only:

3. What the App never does
- No uploads. Screenshots, recognized text, analysis results, and search history are never sent to us or to any server. The App has no networking capability for its features.
- No accounts. There is no sign-up, no login, and no user identifier.
- No tracking or profiling. We do not track you across apps or websites, and we do not build any profile about you.
- No analytics or advertising. The App contains no analytics SDKs, no ad SDKs, and no third-party data collectors.
- No data sharing or selling. We never sell, rent, or share your information with third parties, because we never receive it in the first place.
4. Permissions
Cavri asks for access to your photo library for one purpose: finding the screenshots you saved and making them searchable. You choose between full library access and limited access (only the screenshots you select). You can review or change this at any time in iOS Settings → Cavri. If you deny access, the App simply has nothing to index; everything else keeps working.
5. AI processing
Any AI-powered understanding in Cavri (including text recognition and, where available, on-device language models via Apple Intelligence) runs locally on your device through Apple’s on-device frameworks. AI features are optional and availability depends on your device; when Apple Intelligence is not available, the App uses non-AI, rule-based analysis instead. Prompts, results, and model outputs are never transmitted anywhere.
6. Storage and security
All App data lives in the App’s sandbox on your device and is protected by iOS data protection (encrypted when your device is locked). Because there is no server-side copy, the security of your data is the security of your device.
7. Data retention and deletion
- Individual memories: when a screenshot is deleted from Photos, Cavri removes its analysis and index entries the next time it runs.
- Search history: removable at any time in the App’s Search screen.
- Everything: deleting the App from your device permanently erases all data Cavri has stored — the local database, search history, and Spotlight entries. Nothing survives on our side, because nothing was ever sent to us.
8. Your privacy rights
Depending on your jurisdiction (for example the GDPR in the EU/UK or the CCPA/CPRA in California), you have rights over your personal data, such as access, correction, deletion, and portability. Because Cavri keeps all data on your device and collects nothing, you exercise these rights directly: everything the App knows is visible in the App, and deleting content in the App or deleting the App itself deletes it completely. We do not collect personal information as defined by these laws, so no “do not sell or share” choice is necessary — there is nothing to sell or share.
9. Children’s privacy
Cavri is not directed at children under 13, and we knowingly collect no personal information from anyone, of any age. Since all data stays on the device, no child’s data is ever transmitted to us.
10. International users
Because your information never leaves your device, there are no international data transfers of your data.
11. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update this page and the effective date above. Material changes will also be announced in the App or on the App Store listing. The “no upload, no collection” commitments in this policy apply to the current version of the App; if a future version ever offers optional cloud features, they will be strictly opt-in and covered by an updated policy before any data handling changes.
